73 works of art were submitted to the HCA's Winter Show.  Please join us in the Lotvin Family Gallery to view the art and to bid in our silent auction to benefit the HCA.  

The HCA Winter Show 2024 Exhibition will be available for viewing at the HCA's Lotvin Family Gallery November 26, 2023 - December 16,  2024 as well as online here.

The HCA gallery hours for public viewing: Monday - Fridays 9 am - 7 pm and Saturdays 9 am - 2 pm. If you wish to bring a group of 6 or more people to view the exhibit, please contact the HCA in advance to schedule a group visit.

Artwork Description: This image was taken during the full moon in October. This was taken just before sunrise and the moon was very bright. This image is an in camera double exposure where I took an image of the moon and placed it in the hands of the sun sculpture when taking the photo of the sun. This took a few tries to get the exposures and placement correct but I really liked the results: "The Guarian of the Moon"

Artwork Description: This was a scene that I encountered while hiking with relatives in the lake region of New Hampshire in mid winter in 2018. I took a few photographs using an Olympus, mirrorless digital camera and based the painting on one of them. I have attempted to capture the cool, serene feeling of Mid-winter in a rural setting. I have met many people from WNY who share my love of the scenic landscapes and vibrant community of the Adirondacks. Artwork Description: I saw a photographed leopard at the high-end jewelry store a few years ago. She indulged with a red jewelry box, wondering what to do with it. For some reasons, this image stuck in my head for years perhaps because of its unusual combinations (wild beast vs elegant jewelry). When I started my journey as an artist, I decided to paint that image. It took me a while to produce it as I relied on my rusty memory and some reference photos available in public. At the end, I was able to capture the leopard's facial expression as I wanted to, the image stuck in my head is finally able to come out.
